First there was music...
Corrie started playing the violin at age 3 (thanks to the Suzuki method), and music filled most of her childhood. During weekend youth orchestra practice, she discovered a nearby art museum and visited the paintings during rehearsal breaks. For the next many years she was deeply immersed in the music world, performing solo and with songwriters, symphonies, and indie bands on stages from the Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles (a gorgeous Frank Gehry icon) to the Station Inn in Nashville. She even performed in Zimbabwe as a Goodwill Ambassador with the U.S. State Department.
